We recommended walking from Avenza to Massa, then taking a train from Massa to Pietrasanta (payable locally). From Pietrasanta you can rejoin the route to Camaiore. We suggest this route option to enhance your experience along the way. Please see your roadbook for more information and directions. This will shorten the day to 24km (15 mi). This is the first section of the walk.

Percorso che mette a dura prova gambe e fisico, in quanto quasi tutto il dislivello in salita viene percorso nei primi 6 km circa. Ci sono alcuni punti esposti in cui bisogna fare un pò di attenzione ma per il resto il percorso è facilmente individuabile e percorribile. Consiglio di farlo in una giornata limpida perchè potrete godere di vista mozzafiato durante tutta la salita e soprattutto dal monte Sagro.
