Dazwischen, jede Menge schöne Landschaften, nette Orte, unzählige Baguettes, lecker Pasteten, Käse und natürlich Wein :-). Die schönen Anblicke der Schluchten von Ardèche und Tarn "erkauft" man sich mit viel Schweiß auf den steileren Auffahrten. Am Canal du Midi ist auch nicht immer entspannt radeln, der Weg ist oft nur ein Trampelpfad.

Argens-Minervois, Roubia, Paraza, Ventenac-en-Minervois, autant de villages vignerons qui se serrent au bord du Canal du Midi et nous invitent à découvrir un autre monde à vélo.Le Somail, ancienne « couchée » créée par Pierre-Paul Riquet, est l’un des sites les plus marquants de cet itinéraire cyclable. Véritable carte postale avec son port, sa chapelle et son incroyable librairie de livres anciens, ses hébergements au bord du canal et cette ambiance propice à une halte prolongée.
