A walk around Howth Head , great views sea cliffs and historical references. Also into Howth for lunch

this is pretty long , took 14 hours with water depot the previous day to collect enroute. It is a recreation of a walk done by tom Crean in 1912 ,  he made a solo dash for help leaving his two comrades in a tent 33 miles away. If you want to know how tom felt,  this is the walk for you.

Dieser Weg führt steil auf einem Pfad entlang des Poulanass-Wasserfalls hinauf, bevor er auf einer Forststraße zum oberen Teil des Derrybawn Mountain führt.

An enjoyable walk in the Wicklow Mountains around the Upper Lake and through the old lead mines. Excellent views and scenery. Note we recorded 9.8Km, the mapping seems to have lost some distance!

Start at Ghan House and follow the footpath past St Johns Castle to Carlingford Marina. From the Marina pick up the sighs for the Greenway and follow it for 5km to the Pier at Greer"s Quay. From here retrace the route back to Carlingford to complete the 10km walk. If you moving fast and wish to go further you can continue on the greenway as far as you wish. Equally you can turn at any point  to shorten you walk.

Great walk with a mix of minor road, forest road and track starting at Trooperstown Forest following well marked out route to Rathrdum (Stump of the Castle). Prepare for nature reserves, ancient Irish Oak forest and the River Avonmore with picnic spots along its bank to take in the view.

Part of the Barrow way from Robertstown to Monasterevin. Starting in Sallins will add 11km to the walk.

Easy to moderate loop from Ticknock Car Park to Tibradden Cairns. Loop starts/ends in Ticknock Car Park. There's plenty of car spaces available but be warned, on a sunny day you might find none! The loop covers Three-rock mountains (RTE TV/Radio Towers) and Fairy Castle (Two-rock mountains).
