A circular walk with spectacular views of Burhou & Fort Clonque

A varied walk, best enjoyed on a dry spring or autumn day.Taking in some of the islands fascinating architecture, migrantbirds and spectacular coastal views. Approximately 3 miles(5km) long, with some slopes and steep sections, whichshould take around I hour 30 mins.

An interesting trail into the heartland of Alderney, exploringsome of the less visited parts of the island, taking in woodedvalleys and the central highpoint of Les Rochers.

A short circular walk, starting at the Visitor Information Centre.Good all year round and suitable for pushchairs. Exploringthe heart of the island and taking in wooded valleys, wellsheltered from the wind.

A gentle walk around the historic centre of St Anne, enjoyed at any time of the year. This walk takes in prominent public buildings and private residences, as well the quaint old quarters.

Best between March and October, this cliff-top walk takes in heath-land flowers and spectacular views over the South Cliffs and the Gannets at Les Etacs. About 3.5 miles (6km) long with steep coastal path sections, it should take about 2 hours.

A military history walk that takes you past the largest Victorian fort and round a headland that has one of the best views on the island, to thebest-preserved German Strong-point and then on to the northernmost Victorian fort.
