This hike takes you from the city center through a bit of forest, alpine meadow, and offers great views of the Alpsee before looping back to the city center.

Starting in the heart of Immenstadt this hike leads you first up to the Rothenfeld Alpe. Be sure to latch the gate at the Stadt Alpe as you pass by. From here you venture through a bit of tall forest with multiple scenic views before landing a bird's eye view of the Großer Alpsee. Feel free to grab some of the wild raspberries on your way down, but watch out for stinging nettle growing alonside of it. Once your are down off the mountain you pass under the road find yourself on the Alpsee promenade. Grab a bite or a beer here before walking back to the city passing the Kleiner Alpsee and the historic Union Film Theater along your way.
