Family Friendly Hike Around Haldensee

This easy hike is perfect for families with small children with fantastic views of the Köllenspitze and multiple places to grab a bite to eat along the way. From the parking lot you will likely be greeted by a few of the local ducks that call the Haldensee home. There are a few different places on the southwest edge of the lake where it is possible to walk down to the water and let the kids practice their rock skipping skills as well. As you walk around the crystal clear lake you will also have breathtaking views of the Köllenspitze as it sometimes reflects perfectly off of the Haldensee. Grabbing a bite to eat is no problem and this hike is a loop bringing you back to the parking lot after an enjoyable venture.
